Judson Hill ‘eager to work’ with Price to repeal and replace Obamacare
Running to succeed the newly confirmed Health and Human Services Secretary Tom Price in Congress, State Sen. Judson Hill said he’s ready to put his experience in healthcare policy to work in partnership with Price and President Trump to repeal Obamacare and replace with conservative solutions that are best suited for Georgians.
“Having worked hand in hand with Secretary Price for more than a decade, I am particularly proud of his confirmation for one of most important jobs in our country. This comes at a critical moment as Americans look for relief from the Obamacare disaster, and there’s no one better prepared for this tough job than my friend Tom Price,” Hill said. “The people of the 6th District are proud to have their congressman’s outstanding work on healthcare policy recognized in such a way. The time for fundamental reform is now, and I’m excited to join my friend Tom in the fight to establish patient-centered solutions for healthcare access that both increase choice and decrease cost.”
With Price’s confirmation, the campaign to continue the tradition of effective conservative leadership in the 6th District has begun. The next representative will follow in the footsteps of Price, Sen. Johnny Isakson and Speaker Newt Gingrich, who has endorsed Hill in this election.
“Throughout my time in the state Senate, I have worked to turn conservative rhetoric into conservative law in healthcare policy,” Hill said. “That’s exactly the kind of partner that Secretary Price and President Trump need in Congress. This is a special moment when we have the opportunity to enact the great changes demanded by Georgia voters. I’m ready to get to work.”
