Senator won Georgia’s 6th District by wide margin in 2016 presidential primary
Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), who won the 6th District by a wide margin in the 2016 Presidential Preference Primary, today endorsed Judson Hill in his bid to represent Georgia’s 6th Congressional District.
“Judson Hill is the only conservative Republican in this race who can win – and he’s a proven leader who can help us get our nation back on the right track after eight years of the Obama administration,” Rubio said. “We have enough talkers up here in Washington. We need doers, and Judson Hill is a doer.”
Rubio noted the urgency of keeping this longtime Republican seat in the hands of a conservative with the experience to get to work immediately on the pressing legislation Congress must pass this year, especially with Washington Democrats now targeting the 6th District race, sending paid operatives and more than $2 million to liberal Democratic candidates in the district.
“Judson knows how to repeal and replace Obamacare, because he’s passed patient-centered reforms in Georgia. He knows how to cut taxes while balancing a budget, because he’s done it in Georgia. And he knows how to fight for the sanctity of life and our 2nd Amendment rights, because he’s done it in Georgia,” Rubio said.
Judson thanked Rubio for his support and vowed to work with him to enact a conservative agenda.
“The time for reform is now. Send me to Washington, and I will work with trusted conservatives like my friend Marco Rubio to fix the mess that the previous administration left for us, starting with repealing and replacing Obamacare and rebuilding our military,” Judson said. “Let’s show the Washington Democrats that they can’t buy out the 6th District.”
